Inter Striker Edin Dzeko Nabs Croatian Citizenship

The captain of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Džeko, received Croatian citizenship, local media reports.

Inter striker had previously submitted an application, and he obviously met all the strict conditions prescribed by Croatian law.

Klix reports that Džeko probably asked for a Croatian passport due to business facilities, since it is known that there are certain investments in Croatia, such as owning a restaurant in Dubrovnik.

Certainly, this move could be a relief for Edin in his club career as well, considering that he will now be a player from the European Union.

Currently, Džeko plays for Inter and is in great shape, scoring a total of 10 goals in all competitions with three assists in 18 matches.
