Influencer Dies Just Hours after Donating $200K

 


Russian auto-blogger and Instagram influencer died just hours after donating $200,000, it is reported by local media. 

Twenty eight year old Dagestani car-blogger Said Gubdensky died in an accident in Moscow on the evening of November 20th. A video appeared on Telegram in which a sports coupe BMW M4 Competition skids on a slippery road, the car takes off into oncoming traffic right in front of a Mercedes-Benz GLS and Volvo XC90 SUV. He died on spot.

He was well-known for street racing videos where he bragged about his driving skills.

Said Gubdensky was not only a blogger, but also a well-known entrepreneur. In Moscow, he owned a tuning studio, where famous racing bloggers often came. He had half a million followers on Instagram, after the accident there were about eight hundred thousand of them. "Goal: to become number 1 in the auto business" - is written on his page in the social network. In one of his latest videos, he shows off his BMW M5 and talks how he will crash "stereotypes that the M5 does not drive well sideways".



Earlier, Said Gubdensky was already deprived of his rights for violations of traffic rules, and also drove without numbers, the press service of the capital's prosecutor's office told media.

"The 28-year-old man who was driving a BMW was previously repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility for violations of traffic rules in Russia, including in Moscow, and was deprived of the right to drive a vehicle," the message says . 

The deceased autoblogger and another person injured in the car crash (President of the Federation of Motor Sports of Dagestan Zaur Ibragimov) donated 3 million rubles (around $400K) shortly before his death, the Insan charitable foundation reported on Instagram. “They intended to do it secretly. And the money was transferred to the fund's account on Friday evening, ”the message says. The fund noted that thanks to the help of Gubdensky and Ibragimov, it was possible to help 18 patients "with severe pathologies".
